Dear Parents and Guardians,

All Nordonia students enrolled for the 2024-2025 school year are encouraged to complete their summer reading assignments as outlined in the summer reading brochures. Please see the right column for the available brochures. Please enjoy reviewing how each grade band has updated the program by clicking through each of the documents available.

When children read throughout the summer, they become better readers and better learners. Summer reading helps children keep and improve the reading skills they have developed during the school year.

If you have any questions regarding your child’s reading level, summer reading book selection, or summer reading assignments, please feel free to contact his/her teacher before the end of the school year.

Please note that the grade referred to in the brochure is the grade your student will be going into in the 2024-2025 school year.  Also, if your child is entering 5th or 6th grade and plans to participate in the Nordonia Hills Public Library program, it ends July 30th.
