Board Member, Tammy Strong

  • My Philosophy: Public schools provide the educational foundation for each and every child to succeed in life. Ever-changing mandates and funding cuts have made this challenging, yet Nordonia schools have remained strong. Through fiscal responsibility, programs and services have been expanded. As a community, we need to continue to support the growing educational needs of our children as best as we can. It is an investment into the lives of the children of our community and our future.

As a board member, I will always vote for what I believe is the best interest of students and helps improve student achievement.

  • My Philosophy: The Community’s school district can either attract residents to the community of push residents out of the community. While I believe that we have a good school district currently, I want to help make our district an outstanding school district by further broadening the district’s curriculum and services provided to the community which will, in turn, lead to more residents moving into our community. I believe strongly that Nordonia City School District can be a major contributor to bringing additional residents to the community and I want to support the superintendent and the community in achieving that leading role!

Every child is guaranteed an education, but the quality of that education is determined by the community both at home and at school. As a community member and parent, I am honored to support the academic growth of our youth. Twenty-first century education prepares students for success after graduation and beyond. It is my goal to aid in the progress of our school community through positive and meaningful collaboration that brings about growth and bright futures.
