Investment Program

It is the practice of Nordonia Hills City School District to maximize the revenue generated by our available bank balances.  Since our balances represent public funds and tax proceeds, our primary focus remains perservation of principle.  The secondary goal is to properly balance liquidity needs, with an acceptable rate of return.

Proper managment of this program is paramount to maximizing our limited resources.  During each of the past several years, we have experienced growth in investment revenue.  One major factor is related to an overall increase in investment yields, while another major factor relates to our growing principle balances.

On a semi-annual basis, the Board of Education is provided with a report of the District's current investment holdings.  The reports also detail rates of return, and compare returns to the prior year.  Several of those historical reports are available for review below:
