Meet Your Teachers:
Mr. Edgar has been teaching Technology Education at Nordonia Middle School for 14 years. He attended Indiana University where he was a 4-year letter winner in Football. He completed his undergraduate work at Kent State University. Mr. Edgar is married and has three children. His wife is a teacher at Stow-Monroe Falls Middle School. In his spare time, Mr. Edgar enjoys fishing, watching his children play sports and woodworking.
Mrs. Hopkins received a degree in Art Education from Miami University. She has been teaching Art at Nordonia Middle School for 15 years. She has three adult children and she likes to garden, read, spend time with her family and she loves dogs!
Mrs. Schrembeck is in her 21st year of teaching. Before coming to Nordonia in 1999, she taught at Brooklyn City Schools and Assumption School in Broadview Heights. Mary received her Bachelors’ of Music in 1989 from The University of Akron and her Masters’ in Music Education in 1998, also from The University of Akron. “Go Zips!” In her spare time away from school, there are 4 Schrembeck children at home taking up much of her time! Emily is 8, Robert is 6 and the twins, Elden and David are 3. All of them say they want to play drums when they get older!!!!! She has been happily married to Rob for 15 years. Mary loves to travel with her family, play with the kids and ride her motorcycle when she can.
Mrs. Covin has been teaching Physical Education at Nordonia Middle School for 15 years. She received her Undergraduate and Masters’ Degree from Kent State University and received her Administrative Degree from Ursuline College. Mrs. Covin is married and enjoys playing softball, traveling with her husband and gardening.
