Knights Caring for Knights Looking to Help Those in Need

Knights Caring for Knights is a FREE weekend food assistance program provided to any Nordonia Hills City School District student that needs/wants assistance.

The bag of food is provided on the last day of each school week and consists of 2 breakfast meals, 2 lunch meals and 2 snacks. Often the bag also contains some other food items that could be used to support a dinner meal.

This program is funded by generous community members through donations to the Nordonia Schools Foundation. Much of the food is obtained by collections locally or through the agency membership that the Foundation has with the Akron Canton Regional Foodbank.

Your enrollment in the program can be for a few weeks or can be for the entire school year. It is totally up to you! Your membership is confidential and only full time school officials know who is taking part in the program so that each child is sent home with a weekend bag of food, if the family elects to participate.

If you would like more information, please email your classroom teacher or school counselor for more details about the program.

If you would like to participate, fill out THIS FORM and return to your child’s teacher or school counselor. There is no deadline for this program – please return at any time.
