Nordonia Teen Institute (T.I.) Announces Name Change for 2018-2019 School Year

(Macedonia, Ohio) On August 16, 2018 Nordonia Teen Institute (T.I.), Nordonia High School’s youth-led prevention program announced a change in their name and branding for the 2018-2019 school year. Nordonia T.I. will now be Nordonia Youth to Youth (Y2Y)!

Youth to Youth is a youth-led prevention program based in Franklin County from which Nordonia T.I. has adapted programming models, the change of name completes the transition to the Youth to Youth model.

When asked about the change of name, high school advisor and certified prevention specialist Regina Christy said, “It’s an exciting change that we think our students will be excited about. It brings a fresh, new look to our club while accurately describing what our mission is: helping students encourage their peers to make healthy decisions.”

In addition to the high school club changing their name, Junior Teen Institute and Project PANDA at Nordonia Middle School and Lee Eaton respectively will also change their branding to be consistent with Nordonia Y2Y creating a comprehensive youth-led prevention program from 5th grade thru 12th grade in the district.
