Ledgeview Elementary Arrival/Dismissal 2022-23
Please remember that cars can ONLY TURN RIGHT onto Shepard Road between 8:00 and 9:00am and again from 3:00 to 4:00pm.
Arrival Information
Arrival Times: Morning arrival time is between 8:40 and 8:55am. Students are allowed to enter the building at 8:40. Students must head directly to their classroom unless they are getting breakfast in the cafeteria. Students who are not physically in the building by 8:55 must be walked into the front vestibule by an adult and signed in as tardy.
Morning Carpool: Morning carpool students should be dropped off in the back of the building by 8:55am at the latest. For safety purposes, students must get out of the car on the passenger side only. Please DO NOT pass cars that are unloading students. At 8:55 the carpool doors will be closed and students must be walked into the front vestibule by an adult and signed in.
Early Arrival for School Breakfast: Students who will be getting breakfast in the Ledgeview cafeteria may enter the building at the front entrance between 8:30 and 8:40. Students will need to buzz in from the front vestibule and inform the school secretary they are here for breakfast. Students who come in for breakfast must go directly to the cafeteria.
Dismissal Information
General Student Pickup Information:
· The school instructional day ends at 3:30pm
· Any changes to a student’s daily transportation method must be communicated directly to the office by 2pm.
Office Pickup: Students may be picked up in the main office prior to 3pm. Students cannot be signed out between 3-4pm.
Ledgeview Afternoon Carpool: Students who are not eligible for bussing will be the only students permitted to use the back-door carpool lane starting at 3:30. Families will be issued color coded car tags for the 3:30 time and students will be issued matching bag tags. THE WINDOW TAGS MUST BE DISPLAYED in the front window of your vehicle on the passenger side of your car in order to pick up your child from the carpool lane.
Cars will not be allowed into the back parking lot until 3:20PM.
Children waiting for pick up will wait inside the gym entrance doors in the back parking lot. Staff will call students by their car tags, and they will be escorted out the door to their cars.
Dismissal in the car pool area of the building ends at 3:55pm. At 3:55 students who have not been picked up will be taken down to the office and an authorized adult will need to come into the building to sign them out.
Our Lady of Guadalupe Afternoon Carpool: Students who are eligible for bussing but whose families wish to pick them up from school must register to pick their child up at Our Lady of Guadalupe.Families will be issued color coded car tags and students will be issued matching bag tags. THE WINDOW TAGS MUST BE DISPLAYED in the front window of your vehicle on the passenger side of your car in order to pick up your child from the carpool lane.
If you are eligible for bussing but would like to pick your child up via the carpool lane you must complete this Google Form.

Bus Dismissal: Bus riders will wait in the classroom until their bus is called.
