The Board will hold a special meeting on Thursday, July 23 at 6 p.m. via Zoom to discuss the DRAFT and offer me feedback. I will take the Board’s feedback, finalize the plan, and release it no later than August 14. It is possible that the Board may approve the plan at the July 23 meeting. We do not want to make a hasty decision, but we will need as much time as possible to work out the logistics and families will need time to decide what option they will choose for their children.

As soon as the official reopening plan is released, I will schedule a “Virtual Town Hall Meeting” in which my administrative team and I will answer all questions related to the reopening plan. I know the stress and anxiety of running a school district at this unusual time. I can’t imagine the stress and anxiety of being a parent.
