Thank you for your continued support and flexibility as we work through these unprecedented times. As you know, to help prevent the community spread of COVID-19, the Nordonia Schools will be closed to students now through Tuesday, April 14. Students will return on April 15.
A few items today:
- I will be appearing on Facebook live every day from 1:30-2 p.m. to give news and to take your questions. You can find it here: https://www.facebook.com/NordoniaHillsSchools/
- Currently, prom is scheduled for Saturday, May 2 at Signature of Solon. We have booked Signature of Solon for Saturday, June 13 and Friday, July 3 in case prom needs to be rescheduled. Please put those dates in your calendar.
- Currently, graduation is scheduled for Thursday, May 21 at EJ Thomas. We have booked EJ Thomas for Thursday, June 18 and Thursday, July 16 in case graduation needs to be rescheduled. Please put those dates on your calendar.
- We are still conducting kindergarten registrations. Call Maria at 330-467-0580 to schedule an appointment.
- A reminder, this closure will not impact seniors expecting to graduate, and there is no indication that the school year will be extended.

These are unprecedented times, and we will get through them together through flexibility and common sense. Please understand this closure is not only to keep students and staff safe, but also to prevent the spread of COVID-19 as seen in other countries around the world.
