We have several events planned for our students on Friday, November 11th.

• As a part of our intramural program during recess, students will be performing the play, Honor Our Heroes. This will be recorded and shared with students and families.

• Each of our students will receive a flag pencil as a reminder throughout the day to honor and celebrate our veterans and military families.

• Our 6th grade choir will perform at the flagpole. This will be recorded as well.

• Each student will be participating in our Holiday Cards 4 Our Military Challenge this year. As a building we will be creating holiday cards for the military. This is a national program and we are excited to participate this year.

In addition to the above events, we believe in celebrating our veterans and military families throughout our school year. We will continue to invite our military families and veterans in to assist their student(s) as they recite the Pledge of Allegiance on our morning announcements.
