It is the philosophy of the Nordonia Hills City Schools Personnel Office to hire only the best and most qualified teachers, including substitutes, to work with our students. We recently partnered with a firm, Rachel Wixey & Associates, who shares in that philosophy and will be managing the recruitment of all Substitute Teachers in the district.

Nordonia STRONGLY PREFERS Substitute Teachers who have graduated from an accredited teacher education program and hold teaching licenses. Applications of candidates who hold substitute licenses and have four year degrees in fields other than education will be reviewed, but preference will be given to those who have education degrees
