Body Wise is the family life and puberty education program offered to 5th grade students. This program is presented by a registered nurse from Akron Children's Hospital. The program consists of an overview of the physical and emotional changes that can be expected during puberty. The presentation is age appropriate and scientifically accurate and non-judgmental. The information is given with the utmost respect for the students and contains interesting facts and details. The students will be separated by gender for all topics being covered.
